Joke: The Angry Mob

A thief was about to steal in a corner shop in a notorious suburb of Lagos state (one notorious for viciously beating thieves to a pulp). Unfortunately for him, an onlooker sighted him.

“Thief! Thief!…” the onlooker shouted. The thief immediately bolted. An angry mob pursued him as he ran, screaming “BRING TYRE!.. BRING TYRE!.”

When he looked back and saw that he could not outrun the mob chasing him, he stopped and screamed,

“HAA! ABEG O!… NA ONLY EBOLA MEDICINE I THIEF O.. I GET EBOLA!.. I GET EBOLA!!”
